Dear MSVV Alumni Member,
It is with great pleasure that the MSVV Alumni
Association announces the 2006 Annual Alumni Ball, which
will take place at Surya Crowne Plaza Hotel on Saturday
7th Octber 2006. The event shall be a gala evening with
drinks, dancing and dinner for the Alumni, Teachers
and Parents of students presently in MSVV.
Over the last couple of years the Annual Ball has been
a very successful event attended by teachers, parents
and of course large numbers of ex-Modernites. The number
of people who attended in 2005 was over 350 as compared
to 300 in 2004. In order to make this event another
successful one we look forward to a large turnout and
urge all members to procure their passes at the earliest
to enable smooth planning and implementation of the
event.
It is a contributory dinner and the passes for the same
shall be available for Rs. 1000.00 per person till 2nd
October (Please see below the locations where passes
are available). To avoid last minute overages the passes
shall be available for Rs. 1200.00 per person after
2nd October till 6th October - no passes shall
be available at the Dinner venue.

We would also like to take
this opportunity to inform you of the events that have
taken place in the last year.
- The official MSVV Alumni
website was launched last year. All members are
urged to kindly register themselves and log in to
find out the latest events that are in planning
or to find out what their friends from school are
upto. www.msvvalumni.com (can also view the 2005
ball photo's).
- We are looking for
Batch co-ordinators for each passed out
Batch, to help locate and spread the word to all
Batch mates, if anyone interested please contact
info@msvvalumni.com.
- The MSVV Alumni Golf tournament
was held on 24 September 2005 at Golden Greens Golf
Course followed by dinner and drinks at Nasha. It
was a great success, the next Golf tournament
is under planning and should take place in early
November'06. All interested members should
sign up on the Alumni website so that they can be
contacted when the event is announced.
- The MSVV Alumni Challenger
Football tournament was held on 14 November 2005
between MSVV Alumni and School Football team. This
event is planned to be an annual event with a rotating
trophy, which is currently held by the Alumni Team.
- An MSVV wall of Fame ‘Down
memory lane’ has been set up in the school
premises with photographs from several batches that
have passed out from school. It promises to be a
great representative of the history of our school
and a nostalgic collection for every Modernite.

MSVV Logo Merchandise
We would also like to share that the Alumni Association
is in the process of developing a range of merchandise
bearing the MSVV Logo and “Modernite for Life”
caption. These shall include T-Shirts, Caps, Coffee
Mugs, Golf Balls, Shot Glasses etc. Any member with
ideas or sources for such merchandise may contact the
Alumni Association. MSVV Sport Polo Shirts shall be
available for sale at the Alumni Ball.

Alumni General Meeting
The MSVV Alumni Association shall meet on 25 Sep 2006
at 6:30 pm in school. All MSVV Alumni are urged to attend
and contribute with their participation.
